A multi-family building with 19 rental units is being constructed at 44 Bodelschwinghstraße . A variety of floor plans accommodate different lifestyles. The tenants’ gardens, balconies, and the penthouse apartments’ rooftop terraces extend the living space outdoors and enhance the quality of life within the home.
Environmental sustainability
Efficiently planned, implemented with a focus on resource conservation
The building is being constructed to Efficiency House 40 standards and combines energy efficiency with a modular design that conserves resources. We use eco-concrete, in which part of the cement is replaced by alternative materials—for lower CO₂ emissions and greater climate protection. The photovoltaic system on the roof generates electricity, while a heat pump provides heating. Combined with the building’s highly insulated envelope, the result is an energy-efficient and sustainable residential building.

Diversity under one roof
The new building will combine publicly subsidized and privately financed apartments. All apartments are designed to be barrier-free. In addition, one apartment will be designed to be wheelchair-accessible to ensure unrestricted access and practical use for tenants with limited mobility.
