Sharing responsibility

Children and young people shape life in our city. Providing them with spaces to learn, explore, and build community strengthens Leverkusen as a whole. That is why we support projects that offer young people a sense of security, guidance, and new opportunities.

Our current grants

Sports: Wildcats Cheerleading Leverkusen

Cheerleading combines strength, rhythm, courage, and precision. With the Wildcats, children and teens learn exactly that. More than 300 young people train here in dedicated teams and push themselves to new heights with every performance.

Arts & Culture: Young Stage Leverkusen

Through the Young Stage Academy, young musicians from Leverkusen receive professional support, performance opportunities, and artistic guidance. Among other initiatives, the academy supports the artist-in-residence program featuring singer-songwriter Luna Keller.

Social Issues & Society: Reuschenberg Wildlife Park

Here, children and families can experience firsthand just how vibrant nature can be. Goats to pet, lynxes and otters to marvel at, and forest trails to breathe deeply on. We support the Reuschenberg Wildlife Park as a vital part of our city, ensuring that people, memories, and nature remain intertwined.

Social Issues & Society: Leverkusen Food Bank

Everyone gives what they can – guided by this motto, people from all walks of life get involved: countless volunteers dedicate their free time to this cause – whether on a flexible, regular, or occasional basis, depending on what fits into their daily lives. Through our support of the Leverkusen Food Bank, we are helping to provide a service that offers tangible assistance to people in Leverkusen and strengthens social cohesion.

Donations & Sponsorship

Our support has a clear focus: We fund projects that benefit young people, have a local impact, and align with our mission as a municipal housing authority.
Let’s not forget: Children are our future! In addition, we support selected social projects that provide tangible help and open up opportunities for people in Leverkusen.
