New Restaurants in Opladen

A beloved gathering spot is making a comeback: Many residents of Opladen have fond memories of the glass-walled Café Deyck at the corner of Kölner Straße and Goethestraße. It’s now official: The location is set to be revitalized. A new restaurateur from Leverkusen is taking over the former café and plans to offer breakfast, lunch, and coffee and cake. The grand opening is scheduled for early summer.

We are currently preparing the property for its new use. This includes renovation work in the restrooms as well as technical work throughout the building. After standing vacant for some time, the Glasbau will once again become a place for people to gather and spend time in Opladen’s pedestrian zone.
