Running fun for the little ones

Every year, the EVL Half Marathon gets people of all ages moving—from beginners to ambitious runners. A special highlight for the youngest participants are the Bambini Runs, where the focus is on the joy of movement.

Children between the ages of four and ten can gain their first experience with running. To encourage a love of physical activity from an early age, we sponsor the Bambini Runs and are committed to supporting the next generation of athletes in Leverkusen.

This year’s race will take place on June 14. The start and finish lines for the Bambini races are located on Bismarckstraße in front of the BayArena / Ostermann-Arena. The course runs along Bismarckstraße toward the Robert-Blum-Straße roundabout and back to the finish line via the turnaround points.

At the finish line, the young runners will receive medals, as well as soft drinks, bananas, and ice cream. Their parents can also pick them up there.

The WGL all (young) runners lots of fun and enjoyment as they take part.
